A Tourist’s Guide to Getting High in San Francisco

Home 9 Uncategorized 9 A Tourist’s Guide to Getting High in San Francisco

As one of the first states to legalize recreational marijuana in the United States, California has become synonymous with good cannabis. Nevertheless, smoking alone is not enough to create a memorable California experience. In fact, before the big weed boom, San Francisco was already known for its unique tourist spots and historical venues. With that in mind, the following is a tourist’s guide to getting “high” and having fun after visiting the dispensary in San Francisco.

Second-Hand Shopping

At first thought, the idea of thrifting in any city may not seem like an exciting ordeal. However, after searching for a “dispensary near me,” you may be feeling a tad more adventurous. Even if you aren’t into thrift shopping, San Francisco thrift shops may change your mind. Think about it; San Francisco has been the home of some of the most notable celebrities and public figures known to man. So, if you are going to spend some time sifting through the retired duds of others, San Francisco is an excellent place to be. Whether you are looking for something designer or just one-of-a-kind, you are likely to find it while visiting the various thrift shops located in Castro.

Visit the Castro Theater

After smoking great weed, you are likely to experience things more intensely, and movies are certainly no exception. Therefore, going to The Castro Theatre while high is often a whimsical experience. As the city’s last movie theater palace, the Castro Theater is a historical landmark that provides plenty of entertainment to its visitors. No matter if you want to catch a movie or like to attend one of their exclusive signature programs, it’s bound to be a magical experience.

Grab a Bite…Or Three

As we all know, smoking weed often brings on the munchies. So, where should you head after the dispensary? To get something to eat, of course! No matter if you are looking for Chinese, Asian fusion, American, pizza, Mexican food, sushi, or anything else you can think of, you can likely find a great restaurant to visit while in San Francisco. Some of our most notable restaurants are:

  • Val’s Burgers
  • Acqua E. Farina
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Doug’s Place
  • Genghix Asian Fusion

These eateries are bound to please after searching for a “dispensary near me.”

Seward Street Slides

Lastly, if you are visiting Castro Valley, the Seward Street Slides are a must. A historical landmark with several concrete slides, this is the ultimate venue to visit when you are wandering around San Francisco and want to have some innocent fun. Great for all ages, all you need to enjoy this free venue is a piece of cardboard to slide on. If you do not have one of your own, you can often find them lying around the park. Either way, you are sure to have hours of fun if you visit this place with your friends.

Overall, there are many things to do after smoking weed in San Francisco. In addition to searching for a “dispensary near me,” you should be searching for thrift shops, eateries, the Castro Theater, and other historical locations in the area. Either way, if you are searching for premium quality cannabis, be sure to start your journey at the Flore Dispensary. Then, snap a flick for IG in front of the historic mural and experience San Francisco in high spirits!
